X and Midjourney

Elon Musk’s Live Spaces appearance on X revealed a lot of things, including a potential partnership between X and the AI image generator Midjourney. Musk also talked about a new version of X’s upcoming AI chatbot Grok, which brings the “Grok Analyses” button, and the recovery of the first neuralink patient.

Potential Partnership of X and Midjourney

During the live spaces appearance at X, when asked by someone about whether X is going to add some AI art features to X for creators and users, Musk replied that they are having some conversation with Midjourney and that they will soon release AI art features in X.

Midjourney is one of the best AI image creators currently available. The new version of the image creator, Midjourney v6, brings photorealism capabilities and makes the images look highly realistic.

Midjouney might be integrated into X’s AI chatbot, Grok. Grok is currently in beta, and X is working on it before releasing it on the platform. With Midjourney’s integration with Grok, the chatbot will be able to generate AI images based on the user’s text prompts.

This collaboration can totally change the way users interact with X. This will allow users to express their ideas with more creativity, fun, and ease using AI images.

Summarize posts and threads with Grok 1.5

Elon also revealed during the live Spaces appearance at X that Grok 1.5 will be out in a few weeks. The new version will consist of a “Grok Analysis” button, which will help to summarize entire posts and threads. It will also help users create and write posts.

Musk on Neuralink’s First Patient

Elon Musk also revealed that the first patient implanted with Neuralink’s brain chip has made great progress and seems to have fully recovered. The patient can now control a mouse by only using his thoughts.

Neuralink’s primary goal is to maximize the number of mouse button clicks based on only patients’ thoughts. The chip was valued at $5 billion last year, and Musk says the chip can be used to treat various conditions like obesity, depression, and more in the upcoming future.
