Adobe has unveiled its new Adobe Express app, which brings generative AI features to your mobile device. Now users can access Adobe Firefly’s generative AI features on their Android and iPhone devices with this app.

This is going to benefit all content creators who want to create content using their smartphones. Even if you are not a content creator, you can benefit from this app by editing or resizing images for personal use.

Content creators can do a variety of things, including creating posters, banners, social media posts, designs, logos, and more. Adobe’s Creative Cloud users can even open and make changes to their Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator files with the new app.

Features of the New Adobe Express App

All the premium features of the app are currently free in the beta version of the app. Here are some of the amazing features of the new Adobe Express app.

Text to image: Users can enter simple prompts to generate images within the Adobe Express app.

Generative Fill: This feature helps to add, remove, or replace objects in an image. For example, if you have a photo and you want to remove unwanted objects or people in the background, you can use this feature of the new Adobe Express app.

Text Effects: Users can create eye-catching texts and headlines by applying various text styles using generative AI.

Quick Action: Actions like removing backgrounds and resizing images can be done quickly with ease.

Content Schedular: With Adobe Express, users can create, plan, preview, schedule, and publish content across various social media platforms, such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.

Collaboration: Users can collaborate with other co-creators. This saves a lot of time and helps to create content easily with the input and help of both users.

Brand Kits: This feature allows users to upload brand assets, including fonts, colors, and logos. This helps you incorporate brand assets easily the next time you create something for your brand.

Create and Edit Videos: Adobe Express contains various premade video templates that you can use to create content. Users can also add free Adobe Stock audio and sound effects to their videos. Adobe Express also allows you to apply animation effects to any icon, image, text, or image to enhance the video viewing experience.

Other than that, users can easily crop, trim, and remove background noise from a video to edit it according to their liking.

Availability of the New Adobe Express App

The app is currently in beta for Android and iOS users, but anyone who is interested in using it can download the beta version from the Google Play Store. However, for iOS users, there is a limit to how many people can use the beta version, as Apple puts a limit on beta testers, so they have to first sign up here to use the app.

The beta version of the app can be downloaded for free, and all the premium features are currently available for free. After Adobe releases the stable version of the app, there will be a monthly subscription starting at $9.99 per month to use the premium features.

Conclusion

The new Adobe Express app gives direct competition to Canva and other image editing apps. It is going to be really useful for everyone, from content creators and students to normal people who want to get their work done. With everything on their smartphones, content creation will become streamlined and easier than ever for creators.
