Convert Selfies into Paintings With AI

Google’s Arts and Culture App has a new AI feature known as Art Selfie 2. This new AI feature helps users to convert selfies into paintings. With the Art Selfie 2 feature, users can convert their own selfies, as well as group selfies, into art-style paintings.

Google mentioned in their blog post that the new feature currently has 25 painting styles to choose from. These styles include Georgian Era, Medieval Knight, Monet’s Garden, Holi Celebration, Aviation Pioneer, Gaucho, Frida Kahlo Portrait, Roman Gladiator, Performing Shakespeare, Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh, Serengeti Safari, and more. Google also mentioned in their blog post that it will add more styles in the future to increase the user experience.

Talking about security, Google also says that it does not save any selfies.

Steps to convert your selfies into paintings with the Art and Culture App

  • To convert your selfies into paintings, you need to first install Google’s Arts and Culture app from the Google Play Store.
  • After installing, open the app.
  • You will find the Art Selfie 2 feature on the home screen. If you don’t find it there, you can simply, click on the play tab at the bottom, and you will find the feature.

  • Now click on the play button and give all the necessary permissions. and take your own selfie or a group selfie with friends.

  • After taking the selfie, the app will allow you to pick a style from 25 different styles in various categories, such as Art, History and Travel to add to your selfie.

  • The app will take some time to generate the images with your chosen style. The app also shows facts and details related to the current chosen style. After the style is applied, you can download the image and share it with your friends. You can also apply other styles if you want.

Google is taking its AI game to the next level by integrating a lot of AI features into its apps. Google is continuously launching a series of Generative AI features this month. They include the Circle to Search feature that was showcased at Galaxy Unpacked, and they are also bringing new generative AI features to the new version of Chrome, and now the new AI feature in their Art and Culture app is surely going to increase the user experience of its users.
