Are you bored of using the same WhatsApp theme for years? No need to worry because WhatsApp’s new feature may soon allow its users to change the default theme colour for their app. This major appearance change will allow users to choose themes from five different colour accents in an upcoming update.
Details about the WhatsApp’s New Feature
The feature will first come to the iOS version of WhatsApp, but it will be later available for Android. According to a report from WABetaInfo the recent beta version of WhatsApp on iOS consists of a green tint in some areas of the app’s UI. It also contains code that hints users will be able to change the branding colour of WhatsApp to five different colours: Green, Blue, Purple, Pink and White.
The report also included screenshots that show the above information. Users will be able to change the colour of message counts on the right side of the chat list when a new message comes, the colour of the circle around the status updates, the colour of selected tabs at the bottom, as well as other specific buttons within the user interface.

The beta also includes a sticker editor, through which users can edit existing stickers. Users can also create new stickers from scratch by adding their own text or by cropping or rotating the stickers. Users may also be able to remove backgrounds from images while creating stickers. The report from WABetaInfo also mentions that WhatsApp might be working on changing the chat bubble colour in the future.
Conclusion
The new theme colour-changing feature will help to increase the user experience of WhatsApp. Users will be able to change the theme according to their mood and style. It is important to note that all the above-mentioned features are beta and still under development. WhatsApp may make changes to its features based on feedback from the beta version of the app.
